Handles (corporate and financial) restructurings, acquisitions, private equity transactions and advises on the setting up of joint ventures and other forms of cooperation. Furthermore, she advises on shareholders' disputes. Represents financials, investors and corporates. Special sector focus on real estate and energy.
Graduated from the Amsterdam University in 1996 (Dutch civil law). After secondments at Loeff Claeys Verbeke in New York and Allen & Overy in London, she started her career as a litigation lawyer in 1997 at Loeff Claeys Verbeke and continued her career within the M&A department of Allen & Overy in 1999. After having worked in the business sector for a while, she continued to practice as a lawyer at Spigt Litigators in 2008 where she became partner in 2011. One of the founding partners of ENSPIGT.
Specialises in corporate law and insolvency law. Acting as senior counsel in the firm's major litigation files. A true trouble-shooter. Often appointed as trustee by the Enterprise Chamber of the Amsterdam Court of Appeal and the Joint Court of Justice of the Netherlands Antilles and Aruba.

Joost specializes in corporate and commercial litigation with a focus on mass torts litigation. He has significant experience in preventing and resolving disputes relating to, inter alia, shareholder disputes, (international) insolvency and directors’ liability claims in the national and international context. He is active in the field of banking litigation and involved in various mass torts proceedings.
Graduated from the University of Amsterdam in 2002 (Dutch civil law). Practiced as a corporate litigation lawyer with SpigtHoff Advocaten, later Spigt Litigators (2002-2012). Practiced law as an independent lawyer with a sidestep in environmental governance science as of 2013 (Delft University of Technology and University of Amsterdam). Marius (1946) has considerable experience in strategically advising companies on M&A related matters both in public and private transactions (as a bidder/purchaser, seller or target), companies in financial difficulties and corporate litigation. Marius is an experienced arbitrator. He served as chair of the Gecombineerde Commissie Vennootschapsrecht (the joint committee on company law of the Dutch Bar Association and the Royal Association of Dutch public notaries) and was a member of the Commitee on financial reporting (an advisory committee of the Netherlands Authority for the Financial Markets).
Marius regularly publishes on issues of corporate law. He worked with Stibbe in Amsterdam from 1973 until the middle of 2016.
